Furthermore, ECOFACT will gather cutting-edge knowledge and experience from production processes, professional simulation tools as well as energy and resource planning standards, to develop and demonstrate an integrated approach, methodology and platform for boosting efficiency of both energy and material resources (linked as an ERMS tool) at factory level while the impact on the whole value chain is considered. The project will be industry-driven and focus on the development of a single, flexible high-level platform for holistic management and decision-support at the service layer on top of a structure of 4 interwoven innovation levels, which will be considered as key enablers for the proposed solution. These levels include:
The core of the ECOFACT platform as such, will be built at this high-level (Apps & Services) layer in a multi- service approach providing an innovative holistic combination of functionalities for advanced energy-efficient, sustainable process/product design and manufacturing management.
The EuropeaN diGital Innovation Network (ENGINE) is an intervention working on strategic topics addressing the regulations, population, or constitution of the European Digital Single Market, targeting strengthening connections between digital initiative at European Level.
Engine was emerged as a voluntary initiative included in the Manusquare project and currently evolved to a multi-project entitative hosting projects from H2020.
Engine is EU based digital innovation domain with the common perspective of fostering the sharing, dissemination, and exploitation of up-to-date information about projects results and initiatives, in order to mutually extend dissemination channels, find connection points among the participating projects, and promoting networking and cross-fertilisation.

STAND4EU is addressing the barriers to innovation and standardisation between research and industry by fostering standardisation as a mean of knowledge valorisation, identifying more agile approaches for the standards’ setting processes and ensuring an easier entry for standards into the market of innovative solutions.
To achieve this purpose, the STAND4EU portal was developed, which is a collaborative platform that is bridging the worlds of research, innovation, and standardisation. It allows to interact with people and organisations involved in standardisation and to learn about the standardisation activities performed in European research projects from different domains.
GREEN.DAT.AI aims to channel the potential of AI towards the goals of the European Green Deal, by developing novel Energy-Efficient Large-Scale Data Analytics Services, ready-to-use in industrial AI-based systems, while reducing the environmental impact of data management processes. GREEN.DAT.AI will demonstrate the efficiencies of the new large-scale data analytics services in four industries – Smart Energy, Smart Agriculture/Agri-food, Smart Mobility, Smart Banking – and six different application scenarios, leveraging the use of European Data Spaces.
This project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation program under Grant Agreement n° 958478
