EnerMan envisions the factory as a living organism that can manage its energy consumption in an autonomous way. It will create an Energy Sustainability Management framework collecting data from the factory and holistically process them to create dedicated energy sustainability metrics.

Consortium

Consortium involves 22 partners from 10 countries (Italy, Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Switzerland, Turkey). 8 of these partners are use case providers.

EnerMan Consortium is a good example of “university-industry collaboration” with a good balance and complementary tasks. Project is managed by administrative coordinator CRF and technical coordinator Maggioli.

We have achieved our first and second standardisation workshops with participation of our stakeholders from industry, academics, and standardisation bodies. They have given opportunity to engage the project partners with relevant standards for sustainable energy consumption with autonomous, intelligent decision support engine.
